KCEN is always looking for new members who are committed to the organization’s mission statement. All those who join are entitled to actively participate in the various workshops (for parents, teachers, students, etc.), vote at our General Members’ meetings, and run for an Executive position on the Board of Directors.

The time commitment is up to you! You can be very involved (which is what we’re hoping for) or engage in your self-professional development by attending some of the workshops that we hold for members.

Membership does have its benefits! You can meet other Korean-Canadian educators who work in the diverse field of education (public, Catholic, independent, elementary and secondary panels). Our membership currently has a Superintendent of Education, vice-principals, teachers with positions of responsibility, business people interested in education, first-year teachers, settlement workers, and teacher candidates. All are welcome!!!
